Argleton, originally in book format, is an imagining of a “uniquely-generic” town, exploring the grey area where fact and fiction meet. Set in a non-descript rural English town, similar to the original Argleton (a phantom town that appeared on Google maps), this project explores the notions of the non-place by being one, of sorts. Coupled with stories that are all true, in that I have been told them, Argleton encourages the viewer to make their own mind up on the degree of validity, of what is in front of them.
